Kretztechnik company is known for its developments in the area of 3 - dimensional ultrasound visualization and first introduced to the market completely universal digital ultrasound scanner-with the possibility of fully automatic three-dimensional scanning.
In 2001, this technology was further developed in the US-scanner Voluson 730 - the first and only device to date, enables the volumetric scanning in real time.
In 2002, the company Kretztechnik became a part of General Electric Medical Systems.  Rosslyn Medical company received the exclusive right to represent the units in Russia.
